Black's contract with AEW expired yesterday, and he has been removed from their website roster. A former WWE NXT Champion, Black made his debut in AEW in 2021 after being released by WWE, where he received significant support from Paul "Triple H" Levesque in NXT. It's likely that WWE could be where he lands next. In AEW, Black was involved in major storylines against Cody Rhodes and Adam Copeland and led The House of Black alongside Brody King, Julia Hart, and Buddy Matthews.
